I would be amazed if Korea wins this considering they already hosted the 2002 World Cup:

Korea wants to host the 2018 or 2022 World Cup. The Korea Football Association on Tuesday said it submitted an expression of interest form to FIFA on Monday. Countries that submit the initial forms can turn in official proposals by May 14, 2010 for the 2018 or 2022 World Cup or both. FIFA will decide on the host in December 2010.

Twelve countries submitted the form by Monday, the deadline for initial bids. They include five Asian countries — Korea, Japan, Australia, Qatar and Indonesia — and the United States, Mexico, England, Greece, Russia, Portugal-Spain, and the Netherlands-Belgium.

South Africa is hosting the 2010 World Cup and Brazil the 2014 final. Since this is the first time non-European countries are hosting the cup twice in a row, there is speculations that 2018 will go to Europe and 2022 to a non-European country.
