Some of you have probably already noticed, but if you look on the top right corner of the site you can see a link to the ROK Drop Forums.  This is something I have slowly been putting together and is near completion.  The Forum is powered by the relatively new WordPress BBpress software.

The forum is ready for people to sign up and start posting. You can read the guidelines for signing up and posting here.

The Forums are compatible with basic HTML code so you can leave links, blockquote, and even post images.  You can see examples of HTML code below the posting box in the Forums. I am still trying to find a Plugin that does this automatically so you don’t have to type the HTML code.  Like I said this is relatively new software that is dependent on people who volunteer to make plugins for it just like people do for the basic WordPress blogging software I use for the ROK Drop.

One useful plugin I have installed is the one that displays recent discussions going on over at the Forums on the ROK Drop sidebar.  I have posted a few current events topics over at the Forum today and I plan on leaving postings of non-Korea or military related topics over there for now on.

I even have a Promote Your Site Forum setup just for bloggers to leave links to postings they recommend.  I can’t possibly read and follow every K-blog out there so if you got something good to recommend, leave a link and excerpt there for me and others to read and if it is particularly good I will even post it over on the main ROK Drop site.

If you have any particular recommendations about the Forums you can post them in the Feedback Forum because I am eager to get as much feedback as possible from readers to improve the quality of the site.
