On my way home this afternoon, trotting through the back streets of Itaewon I was rather surprised to see a man with a rifle. Nobody was screaming or cowering in fear, so I decided not to run, but to ask him what he was doing.

Nice photo… though that’s an air gun not a rifle per se. You can see the compressed air tank in the stock.

Reminds me of the time I saw Koreans in the wee hours of the morning in Uijeongbu de-feathering magpies to use in “chicken” cheese ramyon.

It appears to be an AirForce Condor… a rather nice air or CO2 gun.
The Hangul on his jacket translates to:
“Mr. Kim’s Wholesale Chicken Stick Supply”
