I don’t know what it is but Korean aircraft just continue to crash:
A South Korean F-16 fighter jet crashed Tuesday off the country’s west coast during routine training, Air Force officials said. The pilots ejected and were rescued.
The crash occurred at 12:20 p.m. about 40 kilometers off Taean County, South Chungcheong Province, the officials said. They could not immediately identify its cause.
Taean is about 150 kilometers south of Seoul.
The pilot and his co-pilot were rescued by a pair of helicopters though their conditions remained unknown, the officials said.
“We’re collecting debris of the aircraft around the area, and have set up a unit to investigate the cause of the crash,” an official said, speaking on customary condition of anonymity.
The aircraft, officially known as KF-16, took off for training from an airfield in Seosan, about 100 kilometers south of Seoul, at 11:50 a.m., the officials said. Yonhap

It is obvious: they fly like they drive. You life is too valuable. I know how this story plays out. They will try to say there are structural problems with the planes. It couldnt be pilot error. Koreans are too good with their hands by making kimchee, a world famous magic food and for health loved by people around the world.(PLEASE….EVERYONE….NEVER EVER TAKE KOREAN AIR.
My personal favorite:
"13 June 1991 – (Boeing 727) from Jeju to Daegu, the aircraft performed an unexpected gear-up landing at Daegu. The crew failed to read out the landing procedure checklist and therefore didn't select the gear down option. Subsequent investigation revealed that the pilot instructed the co-pilot to pull the fuse from the warning system because the repeated warnings that the landing gear was not deployed were, "irritating and distracting," him as he attempted to land. With the warning horn disabled, the Korean pilot brought the plane in and slid down the length of the runway on the central structural rib in the belly of the aircraft."

Granted it's a Class A mishap but I wonder if the ROKAF is still neglecting Time change items in it's maintenance because they're too cheap. That's the reason a couple years ago all the F-15's and -16's going down because they didn't change almost any time critical item on the aircraft and especially in the engines because of cost.

How Does Your Filipina Juicy Compare to a Korean F-16?
You can buy plastic models of one and inflatable models of the other.
They have a big, dark hole in the back that emits hot gas and occasionally leaks fluid.
Neither one gets pregnant with a missile up the tailpipe.
They respond better with a pilot in them.
Only one requires no paperwork after a tool is removed.
They leave a trail of wreckage wherever they go.
One requires high maintenance to take off. The other will take off with no maintenance.
They will roll over quickly and go down on command.
A simple hand movement can wiggle their flaps.
The entire weapons squadron has dumped a payload in them.
Once you punch out of them, your condition is unknown until after a checkup.
When going down, only one results in a dead stick.
With your guidance, they are capable of a true heading.
They do their job better with lots of speed.
One goes in a hanger to be protected. A hanger goes in one if not protected.
If they don't have the right attitude, they get their noses flattened.
One is simulated with 16 million dollars of electronics and hydraulics. The other is simulated with a rolled up towel, a surgical glove and a squirt of lotion.
The black box is the first thing everyone thinks of.
They are maintained by Koreans who lock them up at night.
They stop whining when you slam them into the ground.
They can be ridden by 2 Korean men at the same time.

Two Class A mishaps per year is not a bad safety record. Commentary on mishaps without understanding these operations is almost laughable. At least the pilots got out because some of the ROKAF pilots are instructed to do everything in their power to save the aircraft since they are considered national treasures. That is why some pilots do not even eject.
