“Chinas investments in North Korea” says much about how North Korea continues to survive. While trade is in commodities, it is growing and the North Koreans will continue on, reguardless of any sanctions from the SKs, Japan, or the US.
It is well in Chinas interest for North Korea to survive given the chaos that would follow a collapsed NK.
