Who knows what happened here, but keep in mind the first reports involving anyone in USFK are hardly ever right:
Four teens from the U.S. military community in Daegu face further questioning by South Korean police for their alleged role in fights that left two Korean men injured, one of them with broken ribs, a South Korean railroad official said Tuesday.
The first of two alleged assaults occurred on a KTX train platform in Busan around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, according to a security official of the South Korean railroad.
The teens were allegedly singing and dancing on the platform when a man identified only as Kim, 45, told them to quiet down, and a dispute ensued. Two teens and the man allegedly scuffled, and Kim suffered bruises and an injured lip, the official said.
The official said the four teens had been waiting to take the high-speed KTX to Daegu. Their parents are members of the U.S. military community in the Daegu region.
After police took the four teens to a security office at the station, two of them got into a dispute with a Korean man who was being detained in an unrelated matter, and a fight ensued, the official said. The man, identified only as Park, 48, suffered two broken ribs and bruises, he said.
Police later turned the teens over to U.S. military authorities in Daegu. U.S. military officials with knowledge of the case could not be reached for comment late Tuesday.
The four teens are to be questioned further on Friday, the official said. [Stars & Stripes]

They were arrested and got in a fight in the police station and broke a guys ribs? Incredible!
I don't know who this casts a greater shame on: the kids or the police officers who had the little varmits in "custody".
I can imagine some of the things which might have lead to both incidents but will reserve further comment until the "facts" have been presented.

The facts are that these kids and their parents are all trash. What business do they have being in Busan without any supervision?

Does anyone know if these guys were actually dependents or were they young soldiers? I hope they are soldiers, but regardless, -WAY TO GO USFK! shine – shin – shine!

I find that often workaholic command-sponsored field grades and senior NCO's are apt to be highly aloof of their children's activities.

Gawd damn Unsatisfied (#2). Were you the guy who got poked in the ribs in the cop shop? Actually, teenagers and ajoshi's have more in common than they realize. They both listen to crappy music, have ill-fitting clothes, are obnoxious and loud, and think their opinion is the end-all. They deserve each other.

Grumpy, old Korean men do not deserve American teenagers. They deserve Korean teenagers, since they are a product of their own society and culture. American teenagers have no business being in Busan alone, without an adult, and they don't have any business being in Korea, at all. American teenagers reflect the lack of decency and sound character in their parents, but it's rarely the parents who take responsibility.
Have you ever seen American teenagers walking toward base for school in the morning, at the same time that Korean teenagers are doing the same? The Americans are dressed like goofballs and whores while the Koreans where jackets and ties. Both parties have issues, but whose appearance represents their country's value the best?

The Americans are dressed like goofballs and whores…
You made me laugh – and you're right
Tell an American teen that the baggy pants exposing their under-clothing came from the California Penal Institutions and it means that you are a homo looking for someone to enter your anus with their penis.

I know at least one of the families involved. Good family.
They are not "trash".
The son, however, needs to learn to not dress like a thug, which seems to be popular these days. When hauled in before the local authorities, for whatever reason, it is best to NOT look like a criminal from the get go.
