So who knows the name of the city where these two bridges are located?:

Here are this year’s Korea Finder Leadersboard:
- Mark – 5
- Leon Laporte – 4
- Brewcrew17 – 1
- Obiwan – 1
- Rommel – 1
- RoK N ROLL – 1
Note: At the end of the year whoever has the most Korea Finder points will be awarded a book or DVD of their choice from Amazon.com using the proceeds I have collected from people using the Amazon link on my toolbar.

“88 Highway” Ulleung-do…
You know… I quit playing this game last year when I had the correct answer first but didn’t get credit because, while it was obviously the correct pronunciation, the spelling was not what was on Wikipedia or something.
I’m still bitter and hateful about it…

Don’t you mean road 926?

Of course… but local slang calls it “88″ due to its shape.

Bad news, neither of you guys answered the question correctly. You might want to read the question more carefully.

Really?? How big does a city have to be to be called one? Google Earth says the Lat/Long on your image is .51 miles/265.32 degrees from the graphic label for the city of Ulleung, on Ulleung-do. It’s the nearest collection of buildings that might be called a city. (I saw at least 3 different spellings for Ulleung on Google Earth.)

Rok N Roll got it. The bridges are located at Dodong-ri. Google Earth doesn’t have Dodong-ri labeled if you are looking for the name of city on there.

Sorry, GI… rephrase the question, please.
Although we can identify the target well enough to nuke it from orbit, determining what “city” it is closest to is a more challenging question.
Which fits your definition of “city” most closely…
kwan yak shi, shi, eup, geun, myun, ri, etc.
Would Dong-Hae-Shi or Sam-Chawk-Shi be the correct answer?
If so, please don’t screw me out of my point like last time just because I wrote what it sounds like instead of this year’s crappy Hangul to English pseudo translation… no matter how you kimchee it up, ? is shi or she, not “si” as in see or the Spanish “yes”.

Oh… I didn’t notice that it had been answered…
…but…
I CALL BUUUUULLLLLSSSHHHHIIIIIITT!!!!
“ri” is NOT a city.
I knew this crappy game was fixed when I lost my point last year.
I’m calling the Korean Gaming Commission.
