ROK Drop Stats for May 2009

May ended up being quite a month for the ROK Drop with both page views and uniques reaching all time highs due to the sharp interest in North Korea due to the missile test, nuclear test, the suicide of Roh Moo-hyun, and the detained reporters.  I just wish people would have more interest in Korea other than when Kim Jong-il acts up because there is much more interesting things going on in the area besides when Kim Jong-il acts up.  However, as you can see in the Top 10 posts from May 2009 below, the serious postings I did on these topics is beaten out by more off beat topics.  The joke Rekha Sharma Nude posting I did just continues to amaze me with the traffic it continues to pull in from Google.  Just imagine the site traffic I could get if I just posted joke postings about nude celebrity pics?

Anyway below is the site stats and finally let me just give a big thank you to my top referrers.

I visit ROK Drop because I am retired military and have a Korean wife. I spent two years in Korea, two in Japan, two in Taiwan, and one in Vietnam, during my career. I am (because of my history) interested more in the military aspects of Korea than I am of the cultural side. I am sure if I was of Korean ancestry I would be more interested in the cultural side of Korea. I know my wife is and watches Korean TV every night, via the internet.
