A South Korean company announced Friday that it will start selling some 175-thousand packs of the “Baeksan” cigarettes from July sixth, with each pack costing two-thousand-300 won, or about one dollar and 80 cents.
It’s not the first time a South Korean company has imported a North Korean tobacco product. In 2000, the South’s Korea Tobacco and Ginseng Corporation imported North Korean cigarettes under a temporary contract. [KBS Global]

It is interesting as every other pack of cigs costs 2,500 won. I’m curious to see if the 200 won discount does the trick. NK makes a decent beer, which I’ve had at a couple ice bars here.
