And this is what i mentioned months ago that South Korean troops could use real world experience in Afghanistan.

BUT, there would be casualties.

After reading this web article, the US should just feed munitions to the ROKs: http://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/news/nation/2009/... Which means American brigade combat teams should only have to defend logistics base clusters in the Daegu and Busan areas, for which counter-insurgency tactics help.
