Street fight? I would barely call that a scuffle. Most New Yorkers wouldn’t even waste their time watching such a childish wrestling match as entertainment. That’s why those guys walked by. As a New Yorker myself, I’ve walked by much worse.
As far as “I don’t even think in Seoul that Koreans would be as indifferent to something like this?” Wrong! I’ve seen Koreans gawk at or walk by some very savage beating in my time here.

Children misbehaving. Why would anyone want to get involved? The police were called and came fairly quickly.
