  I remember back in college when it rained and there was nothing so I used an unused industrial sized trash bag they had near one of their trash cans to use as a makeshift raincoat. Quite effective!

  I have never owned an umbrella. Getting wet doesn't bother me, and if it isn't summer I can use a coat that is resistant to water.

  The problem is the summer.

  Though I do like raincoats, they make me sweat from the inside so I get wet just the same.

  Oh and it's not so much above convenience. When you get wet with rain water you smell like disaster when you go indoors and it starts to evaporate off of you.
