Here is a pretty good program from Al Jazeera, 101 East that provides a good overview of the North Korea situation along with a variety of opinions on the issue from people like Andrei Lankov, Gordon Chang, & Leonid Petrov. The discussion between Chang and Petrov is quite interesting because it shows the realist position on North Korea (Chang) and the appeasement position (Petrov). Petrov is so much in support of appeasement he of course hates former President Bush, but he even makes President Obama out to be some kind of warmonger against North Korea:
You can watch the remainder of the program over at ROK Sojourn.
By the way something I found of interest in the program was that the Chinese prosecutor that arrested prominent North Korean activist Reverend Chun Ki-won eventually became his son in law when he married his daughter.

Looking at the whole thing, the reporter didn't seem to want to give Gordon Chang much of a chance to voice his opinion.

It is Al Jazeera so it is expected that they would try and side with the anti-US viewpoint.
