Episode 21 – Prisoners of War:
The Gloucester of the British 29th Brigade are taken prisoner of war after the battle of the Imjin River in April, 1951. The war stabalizes at around the 38th parallel, and the two sides agree to negotiate in the summer of 1951. Night battles and artillery duels ensue. The US Air Force destroys every town and city in North Korea in the air campaign.

It intriques me as to how the Chinese and NKs manipulated the peace talks from the beginning, while the US leadership were always one step behind. From chair height to the prisoners in the north, to the prisoners in the south. The Chinese and NKs were outthinking the UN commanders every day, and won world sympathy as a result. It speaks very poorly of UN leadership. I wonder if our leaders in the UN today are any brighter. I think not. Perhaps much worse.
