As some of you may have noticed I have been doing some tweeking to the site recently to include adding Gravatars to people posting to better differentiate between authors. Also Korean characters are now supported on the site.  So feel free to use Korean, Japanese, or Chinese characters because they now work on the site now. I also added the Twitter link on the top right of the site.  If you aren’t already make sure to subscribe to my Twitter feed.  The threaded comments should also be working better on the site as well.  If anyone is experiencing any bugs please let me know so I can continue to fix them and improve the site.

However, the biggest project I have been working on is the new ROK Drop Classifieds:

This site is meant to be used by ROK Drop readers to buy and sell items or to put out information. I have a variety of categories on the site such as:

• cars,
• electronics
• furniture
• motorcycles
• homes for rent
• books
• jewelery
• etc.

If anyone can think of any other additional categories to add to the site, please let me know.  I also have a category for announcements or even promoting restaurants and clubs.  If you have an event you want to promote, post it on the site.  If you are a bar or restaurant owner and have specials you want to notify readers about I have a category for you as well on the site.

To post an ad all you have to do is click the “Post a Classified” button and it will take you to the screen you need to fill out to post the ad along with the option of uploading pictures of what it is you are advertising.  There is no registration and best of all it is FREE of charge.

I am hoping this site will be of use to ROK Drop readers and another way to make the site more interactive.  I do plan on creating a widget to put on the sidebar that as new ads are posted they show up in the sidebar to better advertise what you post.  This is still a work in progress.  In the mean time I plan on promoting ads that are posted in the ROK Drop Classifieds on the main site from time to time.  So please check out the site and start posting and lets make the site another useful part of the ROK Drop community.
