Documentary On American Prisoners of War In China

Via the Korean Economic Reader comes this interesting documentary about American POW’s

Americans in communist China?! Voluntarily?!  This is the story about 22 brave and unusual American soldiers who decided to stay in communist China instead of returning home after the war in Korea.  This great documentary is about their lives in communist China, and their experience in Korea and afterwards in America.

    Thank you for that. It’s very emotional, because it’s on such a basic human level. I’ll need to be alone for a bit after watching these.

    Helsinki syndrome? Most chose to return to the US? One speaks of 500 in captivity only 50 walked out? 23 out of how many thousands? The people speak for themselves, not for those who died. They survived. How does one judge?
