Isn’t government run health care wonderful? From AP-

At least 1,200 veterans across the country have been mistakenly told by the Department of Veterans Affairs that they have a fatal neurological disease. One of the leaders of a Gulf War veterans group said worried veterans from Alabama, Florida, Kansas, North Carolina, West Virginia and Wyoming had contacted the group about the error. Denise Nichols, the vice president of the National Gulf War Resource Center, said the V.A. was blaming a coding error for the mistake. Letters dated Aug. 12 were intended to notify veterans who have Lou Gehrig’s disease of disability benefits available to them.

Garbage in,  garbage out.  As much as I dislike the $2,500 in medical bills I had to pay out of pocket last year, I prefer my insurance and health care as it is.
