Funny…But by the looks of him in the latest published pictures, he hasn't got the strength to wipe himself anymore.

    Huh?

    Grab "another" U.S. hostage?

Implying that Dinga Ling and Dumb Lee were hostages is self-promoting journalistic dishonesty which should be recognized and exposed.

They were criminals… who, other than stress, were treated rather nicely while they awaited the forgone conclusion of release… sadly by the expensive and buffoonish mobilization of a government that truly has more important things to work on than a disproportionate response to satisfy the Hollywood/media lobby…

The American government was the only real entity which became a "hostage"… a willing hostage to North Korea desires… and, other than Clinton publicly, and embarrassingly, following the wishes of Dear Leader, God only knows what backdoor concessions were made which were beneficial to the current North Korean government, damaging to long-term U.S. interests… or both.

So… no.. that was not a great comic.

Wow dude, chill out. This wasn't some examination of the validity of anything, it's just a comic  I would expect this type of response on some article debating the stories claimed by the journalists, but come on …

Hey GI, why not have an open thread.

I know you like to talk about the fraud of greenism, and this fraud finally quit. Good riddance.

Oh, look, it's another so-called conservative sympathizing with the North Korean regime.

First off, Chickenhead, how is it "criminal" to enter a place which is an illegal, criminal state in itself? Furthermore, they weren't captured on the North Korean side.

But, hey, of course you're going to trash them because they work for Al Gore and their release didn't turn out to be a failure for the Obama administration, right? After all, sticking it to one's political rivals/enemies trumping integrity and consistency is what passes for political discourse these days, especially in what's left of the G.O.P.

How would you feel if it were your own (hypothetical) daughter or sister who had been in the same position? You would be begging the Obama administration and anyone else you could think of to help bring her home and you know it.

Chickenhead's just mad because it didn't turn out be a black for Obama administration, even though he'd probably be leading the effort the bring the journalists home themselves if they were Fox News employees or if he were related to one of them.

I never thought I'd see the day when Republicans took the side of the North Korean government.

    LTG,

"Chickenhead’s just mad because it didn’t turn out be a black for Obama administration,"

Nothing starts a post out quite like a good ol' Freudian slip, eh?

    What's next?

"Obama Administration Doesn't Spend Like a Niggard"

(Before the usual gang of scolds demands the deleting of this post, look up the word "niggard" and you will find my headline makes great sense without any racial connotations whatsoever.)

    Anyway…

If you mean "black eye", well… to the few who aren't Oprah drones, Al Gore zealots or blind followers of the Obama-worshiping media, it appears to be a poor expenditure of political capital, a waste of resources, an unnecessary detraction from important issues, a propaganda opportunity for our enemies and, generally, an embarrassing sign of weakness on a Carter-esque scale without ANY return… so, yeah… it was a black eye for the Obama administration…

…although, like the emperor with no clothes, everybody involved is too busy congratulating themselves to notice…

…and, in fairness, they have a lot to congratulate themselves for… career boosts, free publicity, book deals, paid appearances, absolutely no repercussions, etc… all over contrived news manufactured to feed the Politician-Hollywood-Media self-perpetuating circlejerk paid for by tax dollars and advertising budgets that end up being footed by the consumer.

Come to think of it, the whole deal is kind of a political Munchausen's syndrome by proxy… where a needless problem is created and then everybody is a hero for solving it… including those who created it.

"even though he’d probably be leading the effort the bring the journalists home themselves if they were Fox News employees"

Shame. Fox News is to the "liberal media" what Nazism is to Stalinism. You don't have to be a blind follower of one simply because you despise the other.

The liberal and "conservative" camps, and their mouthpieces, are both equally whacked in today's America… as they both champion the absolute worst aspects of their respective ideologies… and seem to have forgotten the good parts (which they both have).

Strangely, one of the few things they do agree on is bigger and more intrusive government. They both sure do push that from different angles, don't they?

"or if he were related to one of them."

Well… you might have me there. I might do what I could to free a half-wit relative from the clutches of North Korea. Do you suppose Clinton would help me?

"I never thought I’d see the day when Republicans took the side of the North Korean government."

I hope you weren't accusing me of being a "Republican"… or whatever the current non-conservative abomination posing as the Republican party is.

But you got one thing right. I am siding with the North Korean government on this.

    Here is why…

I don't like the North Korean government. I don't like what they stand for. I don't like what they do. But that is not the issue.

The issue is that all nations have the right to enforce border controls. Like it or not, that includes North Korea.

And when a nation is condemned for protecting its boarder, especially from infiltrators specifically intending to harm the government, it weakens all nation's authority in enforcing their borders.

So, yes… Republicans and Democrats should admit that North Korea did the right thing by arresting the infiltrators (which they basically have done by never making that an issue during this entire debacle).

Then, they should apply that thinking back home and protect our borders.

    Any more snappy comments?

    LTG,

    Oooops… forgot to hit submit.

    Let's look at your comments…

"Oh, look, it’s another so-called conservative sympathizing with the North Korean regime."

That is only by coincidence. I am sympathizing with the right of all nations to control who comes across their borders. Don't confuse this with sympathy for the North Korean political system.

"First off, Chickenhead, how is it “criminal” to enter a place which is an illegal, criminal state in itself?"

Never mind. That statement is so incredibly foolish that it puts every point you will ever try to make into perspective.

"Furthermore, they weren’t captured on the North Korean side."

Uh-huh. Buy a lot of swamp land, do you?

"But, hey, of course you’re going to trash them because they work for Al Gore and their release didn’t turn out to be a failure for the Obama administration, right?"

I trash all idiots equally regardless of their employer. And, yes, it was a failure for the Obama administration… as I pointed out in the above post… yet many are unable or unwilling to grasp exactly how.

"After all, sticking it to one’s political rivals/enemies trumping integrity and consistency is what passes for political discourse these days, especially in what’s left of the G.O.P."

Well said… but it has no relationship to the actions of two reporters or the Government's response.

"How would you feel if it were your own (hypothetical) daughter or sister who had been in the same position? You would be begging the Obama administration and anyone else you could think of to help bring her home and you know it."

Once again, this has no relationship to the issue at hand. For that matter, how would I feel if I had a son or brother who foolishly believed that two reporters with political/Hollywood connections were more important than American interests?
