@ Lemmy.. I also was infantry 2005-2009. I think you are correct that men and women are different. Physically and hormone wise... However the value of the a womans life is the same as the value of a mans. I also agree that the role of women in the military is at times frustrating for an infantry soldier. And personally i believe that largely the type of woman that the military attracts for some reason or another tend to be pretty pathetic.. HOwever, i believe as an infantry soldier i can not escape the biased that we come from.. Also lemmy you say that you will never treat females as your equal.. The shame is you will never get more from a girl than the level of respect you have for one.. I dont respect all women, just woman that are respectable.. However you have let a few encounters jade your opinion of the entire female persuasion.. A shame the most you can hope for from a woman is an orgasm... Good luck. Also i have now moved back to korea as a civilian with my wife.. There are lots of bars that have men who cater to woman.. Hell woman can order coffee and have it delivered to them for 20 bucks by a guy who will stay and chat for an hr and if they want more than just a chat they pay extra. It does go both ways in korea.. Also I would suggest for military people if their looking for a "good time" go outside of the camp area.. Theres a reason you dont see KOreans in the ville.. Their are much better places to go.. And i know their are clubs that dont welcome military, but im not talking about those.. Even though im no longer military i refuse to go to a place that doesnt serve military. I also dont believe being stationed in the military in a country makes you an expert on that country. In fact most military people stationed in Korea dont really ever see and experience what korea is really like.. Anthropologists say you have to be totally immersed in a culture for seven years to understand it.. And believe me being in the army keeps you from immersing in any culture except the military culture.. SO dont think being stationed in korea makes one an expert.. I learned more about korea living their as a civilian for one month than i did the year i was stationed there..

Your great blog is just worth a read if anyone results in it. Im lucky i did so because now Ive got a whole new view of this. I didnt realise that the issue was so important and so universal. You definitely stuff it in perspective for people, thanks for the awesome info.

Tom Langley,

"Question: How do you separate the men from the boys in San Francisco? Answer: With a crowbar!"

Hmmm... I thought the answer was:

Rub down with a bottle of baby oil and a hand full of Crisco and wiggle in between them while humming show tunes!
