Not even the juicy girls in Korea are as big a rip off as this woman working at Yokota Airbase in Japan:
A former USA Federal Credit Union employee at Yokota Air Base was sentenced to 38 months in prison for stealing $1.5 million out of the cash vault over 13 years, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in San Diego.
Leticia Figuracion must also repay the money and remain on probation for five years following her release, Judge John Houston ruled Sept. 21 in San Diego U.S. District Court.
The credit union’s Misawa, Japan-based regional manager, Joe Roginski, said Friday that he was not authorized to answer questions regarding the case.
Figuracion was removed from her post about one year ago, according to a former credit union employee familiar with the case.
Figuracion admitted to stealing about $10,000 per month from the vault for many years, according to the U.S. Department of Justice Web site.
She covered her tracks by using a credit union member’s account to embezzle the money, then changing the member’s address to avoid notification, according to a U.S. Attorney’s Office news release.
Much of the money was sent to Figuracion’s family members in the Philippines. [Stars & Stripes]
I’m not a banker, but the US public education system at least taught me how to add and subtract and I just don’t understand how a bank doesn’t notice $1.5 million dollars missing from its vault?

Either they didn't notice or they were too easily fooled by her ruse.

I just saw and add in a Korean English newspaper wanting English speaking people to work in a department store. The add said English speakers needed, except Phillipinos.

The same way AAFES doesn't notice $10 million worth of missing beer. Incompetence.
A dependent preferred hire perhaps? Excellent.

Never trust asian poossy. Use it..abuse it..stretch it out…but never put it in charge of your money. Simple advice that will never betray you.

What the lady did was degrading and immoral but please do not generalize the entire Asian population. One person's unethical behavior does not answer for all Asians, wether he or she is a Filipino, Japanese, Korean, or Chinese.
