		<description>It is difficult to read about this, knowing the path that it led to, and to see what is happening today. I seriously doubt our congressmen and women are any more intelligent, and probobly much less so, than in 1919. 
 
The amount of BS a diplomat could spew in a few paragraphs, boogles the mind. Even todays diplomats aren&#039;t as well spoken. (much less congress). 
 
I am beginning to suspect todays world is in as much &quot;deep kimchee&quot; as we were then. 
 
Now tell me again how we don&#039;t need more F-22s? </description>

		<description>That&#039;s why I&#039;m suspicious of historians who smugly sneer at the politicians of bygone days.  Sure, we&#039;ve got the whole rest of history to second-guess--but how would Dr. Know-it-all have fared, if he had to tackle those issues point-blank. </description>
