Obama Coming to South Korea In November

I wonder if President Obama will take the time to take a trip to the DMZ?:

U.S. President Barack Obama will visit South Korea for two days starting November 18th to meet with President Lee Myung-bak.

The White House announced Thursday that Obama and Lee will discuss North Korea’s nuclear issue and ways to strengthen the South Korea-U.S. alliance.

The upcoming summit will be the third time for the two leaders to meet. They first met for talks earlier in April on the sidelines of the G20 financial summit and then again in Washington in June.

During his stay, Obama will also meet with U.S. forces stationed in South Korea.

Ahead of his South Korea visit, Obama is scheduled to visit Japan and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Singapore, before heading to China.  [KBS Global]

I have always thought President Obama would be a great person to give a tear down this wall speech towards North Korea and promote North Korean human rights, but judging by his past track record that isn’t going to happen.
