I think "manhole" is supposed to be one word. If it's two, then "man hole" may refer to a hole in an actual man. And I don't want to think about pictures of that kind of explosion.

Man hole explosions happen all the times in Korea, usually the morning after someone drank a lot of Korean beer.
That's the first thing I thought as well. I'm fairly certain I suffered a "man hole explosion" this morning. The RC was a wreck!
