People skate at the large ice rink at Gwanghwamun Plaza, central Seoul, yesterday. The large rink was opened on the plaza on Christmas Eve, in addition to two smaller rinks already opened on Dec. 11. Those who wish to skate can use the facility for 1,000 won ($0.85)per hour from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on weekends. The fee includes skate and helmet rental. Seoul city government said it would run the ice rinks until 1 a.m. on Dec. 31. [YONHAP]
