For those of us in the military admission to the War Memorial in Yongsan has long been free, but now it is great to see that the memorial is now offering free admission to everyone:
Admission to exhibitions at the War Memorial of Korea is now free, a spokesman for the memorial said Sunday.
Previously, adults were required to pay 3,000 won; teenagers, 2,000 won; and children, 1,000 won for entering the memorial in Yongsan, central Seoul.
The program for this month includes a “peace concert” and a Latin pop-Korean zither concert. [Korea Times via reader tip]
If you have never been to the War Memorial you are doing yourself a serious disservice because it is one of the best museums in Korea. I have probably been there 10 times or more and never get tired of checking it out.

"…Latin pop-Korean zither concert"
I guess I have to ask. WTF is a Latin pop-Korean zither concert? Am I that out of touch?

Not unless you know that Korean pop groups no longer dance the Para Para. Now they're doing the Tarentella.
