Ady Gil,

The way I see it, the Ady Gil relentlessly went after the Japanese vessels (idiotic spud gun, and incompetant and ineffective prop fouling) with its superior speed and maneuverablity - not unlike an annoying fly on an elephant.

The Ady Gil ran itself dry and Pete - is his name Pete Buffoon? They simple laid around and stopped their vessel in the oncoming path of the Japanese boat. Not unlike parking your RV in front of train. Mind you, the Japanese boat DID veer into the Ady Gil on purpose, but really, after pestering the ship for hours...wouldn't you too?

bah, for all i care, the Japs can ram into the sea shepherds anytime they like. After all, the sea sheperds themselves are famous for ramming their ships into others, so they should not mind people returning the favor.

"I don’t even know how it’s possible to come to the conclusion that it was not the Japaneses’ fault,"

I bet it's kinda like how they don't file any charges against the driver when a Sterno-drinking bum with a history of mental illness jumps in front of a car so he can spend some time in a warm hospital bed, get some attention and, perhaps, make a little money.

The Ady absolutely had right of way, a stationary vessel ALWAYS has right of way. Furthermore, the whaler turned to starboard, hit the Ady and then turned back. As if that were not enough, even if the Ady were moving it would still have had the right of way because it was off the starboard side of the whaler. I don't even know how it's possible to come to the conclusion that it was not the Japaneses' fault, it's not even negligence, it was malicious.
At most the Ady was idling forward, but it's fundamentally illogical to say that that made the accident the Ady's fault, watch the whaler in the several seconds preceding impact, you will see it list hard to port, that's because it is turning hard to starboard right into the Ady. And like I said before, it doesn't even matter if the Ady were moving because even then it would have had the right of way.

Some strong words written in these articles defined by personal attitude and belief.

Some use law as a tool to defend their point of view. What does this mean? To many law could be defined as a rule to follow for a specific group of people (a collective). If you fail to follow the law you are subject to the "collectives" punishment which is promulgated. Some of these punishments are barbaric to some. A recent example is the stoning of a woman in Iran who had committed adultry. The collective knew adultry could be punished by stoning and the majority or the rullers of the collective exercised the punishment. Beliefs from other societies see the stoning as barbaric. Regardless, just because something is a law does not inherently benefit a collective and many laws are written to benefit a few. An example would be finance law that allows telephone companies to fleece their customers with such things as "universal access fee".

The japs have eaten fish for a long time. Many people have businesses related to fishing from someone who services the toilets on fishing boats to the kitchen worker who scrapes the scraps from a plate in a fish restaurant into the trash. The collective profits from fishing and writes laws that benefit those who fish. After all, what collective would allow laws contridictory to their beliefs or way of lifves to be written? (besides Americans)

The law has very little, if nothing to do with what is happening with the Japs or anyone else killing whales and if you can read this you are intelligent enough to know it.

The Sea Shepherd only uses the guise of law to defend their actions. Those people have personal beliefs that killing whales is wrong. Where their individual beliefs came from is likely based on their entire life and thats why they are called personal beliefs. eg. You believe your daughter is the most important thing in the world. Another person could not care any less if your daughter were sucked into a chipper-shredder and killed. Those are personal beliefs.

Can anyone tell me about any program the japanese have implemented that replentishes the sea of any mamal they take from the sea? In the USA, tree farmers replant forest that have been clear-cut, fishing streams are re-stocked, ducks are hatched and released etc, etc, etc. Maybe the japs have a whale breeding program or a dolphin breeding program that the world is unaware of.

I laugh in dismay when anyone takes anything that is not theirs and believes they are just in their actions thus, I can equate what the japs are doing as simple thievery.

I am also dismayed at people who have morals and values consistent with Christianity defending the taking of whales. It seems to me they know what is happening is wrong and don't defend their perspective from one of morals and values or from the perspective of the japs. They simply use propaganda to introduce "deragatory attention phrases" for the Sea Shepherd such as eco-loons or eco-terrorist just like the "deragatory attention phrases" such as terrorist and global warming.

The japs are harvesting whales to profit.
Sea Shepherd crew are acting on their personal beliefs.

I hope you don't have trouble defining which is morally more important.

NOT papers done on DOLPHINS that you try to extrapolate to the great whales, and now that you TRY to claim this part..where is your indignation on the slaughter of pigs?
Studies of them show them to be more intelligent than dogs. REAL SCIENCE dimwit... not your emotional claptrap and LIES.
you are still pne pathetic little pos...continue to march pookie, sooner or later you'll cross my field of fire.
