Upon reflection I think the top portrait might be Stalin dressed in his Generalissimo best, as Kim Il Sung didn't start wearing the Stalin-style military uniform until later in the war. At this point he was probably on the run to Kanggye while the USAF bombed the heck out of the road to Sinuiju. Thanks for the link, GI.
