However, Amanpour does seem to lack knowledge how waterboarding differs from 'water torture'. They should have done their research. Still, given my above stance on waterboarding, I do admit that I have no other good alternative. This is a very touchy subject and I think the debate will rage on for a very long time. On one hand it is safe and effective, but on the other, I think it is morally wrong and goes against what America stands for.
