By This month USFK has started their own official Facebook fan page. This is actually quite a good idea and a number of readers have been leaving questions and the USFK PAO has done a good job of answering them. I particularly liked the question about USFK providing the LG DACOM contract for everyone to read. We all know how corrupt the prior SSRT contract was and that LG DACOM has ties to SSRT. Hopefully the PAO provides a link to the contract on the Facebook site.

People should appreciate that a 4-star general is actually reading their comments on a f-ing Facebook page and then cracking the whip on his staff about developing responses. GEN Sharp is the most transparent and honest USFK commander, ever.

It's a great idea, I think. It shows the general cares, so this will positively affect esprit de corps. It will probably help increase participation in special events and activities, too.
