I think you mistook a general statement aimed at a lot of other people as specifically targeting you. There was no taunt intended.

There was, however, a truthful observation about the general reaction to exposed corruption on Osan Air Base.

Please reread my post (#45)and understand the intention is not to tease… but to point out that a lot of people knew or suspected what was going on… but were silent… or even defensive.

This silence and rationalization allow corruption, at the expense of honorable servicemembers, to continue.

Accusations based on known facts are equally valid coming from a civilian or military member.

Don't point a finger? At who? Lt. Davis? Maria Dowling? Maury Forsyth? I'm curious who I shouldn't be pointing a finger at… considering they are guilty of wrongdoing… and we are both aware of how much higher than Lt. Jason Davis the Songtan club racket extended.

Well… you can't be expected to help the situation now… and no one is asking you to.

However, shedding a little light on the corruption you observed 6 years ago will raise awareness and, as these things run in cycles, perhaps prevent a similar situation that affects honest servicemembers such as yourself.

For this reason, I once again hope you will reconsider exposing the dirty dealings you know or suspect were going on at that time.

Fixed that for you. I agree with almost everything you said. It is none of the MP's business and seriously, they aren't competent enough to catch adjima with 25 frozen ox tails going out the gate. International law and diplomacy likely aren't their strong suit.

It's the silence that allows the corruption to continue and allows the scumbags to get ahead while honest people fall by the wayside.
