Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province plans to build an organic museum and center in Joan-myeon, by August 2011. It has been nominated to host the 17th IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements) Organic World Congress in 2011, which will be the first time ever the event has been held in Asia. This indicates the potential growth of both Korea's organic agriculture and the development of environmentally friendly farms. The museum and center will have a 3-D video room, kitchen, an organic restaurant, wholesale market and exhibition area.

Growing certified organic foods is actually an area that I think Korea’s farmers could excel at, however that is one huge museum to promote organic farming.
