Report: North Korea Responsible for Sinking of Gulf Oil Platform

The EU Times online newspaper is reporting that Russia’s Kremlin believes the sinking of the Deepwater Horizon Oil Platform was carried out by North Korea.

A grim report circulating in the Kremlin today written by Russia’s Northern Fleet is reporting that the United States has ordered a complete media blackout over North Korea’s torpedoing of the giant Deepwater Horizon oil platform owned by the World’s largest offshore drilling contractor Transocean that was built and financed by South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd., that has caused great loss of life, untold billions in economic damage to the South Korean economy, and an environmental catastrophe to the United States.  Most important to understand about this latest attack by North Korea against its South Korean enemy is that under the existing “laws of war” it was a permissible action as they remain in a state of war against each other due to South Korea’s refusal to sign the 1953 Armistice ending the Korean War.

To the attack itself, these reports continue, the North Korean “cargo vessel” Dai Hong Dan believed to be staffed by 17th Sniper Corps “suicide” troops left Cuba’s Empresa Terminales Mambisas de La Habana (Port of Havana) on April 18th whereupon it “severely deviated” from its intended course for Venezuela’s Puerto Cabello bringing it to within 209 kilometers (130 miles) of the Deepwater Horizon oil platform which was located 80 kilometers (50 miles) off the coast of the US State of Louisiana where it launched an SSC Sang-o Class Mini Submarine (Yugo class) estimated to have an operational range of 321 kilometers (200 miles).

On the night of April 20th the North Korean Mini Submarine manned by these “suicidal” 17th Sniper Corps soldiers attacked the Deepwater Horizon with what are believed to be 2 incendiary torpedoes causing a massive explosion and resulting in 11 workers on this giant oil rig being killed outright.  Barely 48 hours later, on April 22nd , this North Korean Mini Submarine committed its final atrocity by exploding itself directly beneath the Deepwater Horizon causing this $1 Billion oil rig to sink beneath the seas and marking 2010’s celebration of Earth Day with one of the largest environmental catastrophes our World has ever seen.

To the reason for North Korea attacking the Deepwater Horizon, these reports say, was to present US President Obama with an “impossible dilemma” prior to the opening of the United Nations Review Conference of the Parties to the Treat on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) set to begin May 3rd in New York. I have a hard time believing North Korea was involved in the sinking of the oil platform.  It will be interesting to see if the U.S. Government addresses this rumor in the coming days.

I mean, come on. Who wrote this nonsense? So, Rush Limbaugh apparently thinks it's true. I'm sure he would.

Wow. Just wow! It’s so freaking crazy one almost has to believe it is true, following the old adage truth is stranger than fiction. Whoever came up with this one should immediately be hired to write the script for the next James Bond film.

Yep, nothing more ignorant than an American who actually believes that we've gained access to more oil through our intervention in Iraq.

Although we did free a lot of people from an oppressive and sadistic dictator. So, mission accomplished and all that…

But the American public will eat it up and really believe it.

Another joke – Iraq is responsible for 9/11 terror attack, and building of nuclear missiles that threatens the United States excuse was used to go to war to grab Mideast oil. The majority of Americans fell for it.

    That was an awesome book!

Koreans actually think Korea is more important to the world than it really is don’t they?

A Korean national talking about the American public “eating it up” is hillarious considering the hundreds of thousands of Koreans who took to the streets in 2008 over bogus news stories and outright lies the Korean media told about Mad Cow Disease.

Koreans take “eating it up” to a whole new level as they prove again and again, year after year.

Yeah, a Korean national talking about how another countries citizens “eat up” news stories!

"aircraft will never be able to sink a Navy ship", or something like that. Then, Dec 7th.

"heavier than air "craft" will never fly".

If you were told on sept 10th 2001, that two planes would be flown into the WTC, what would you have said?

If you told a Marine, on the ground in Korea in 1953, that one day Koreans would protest against America—-

Things that some would find unlikely and maybe impossible.

While the domain names might lead someone to arrive at such a conclusion, not all of those listed are presenting the story as a fact, nor are they necessarily propagators of conspiracy theories and to presume so would be an incorrect assumption.

For example, therightperspective.org (the eponymous site of a New York City talk radio show) begins their take on the matter as follows: "The destruction of a BP oil rig in the Gulf Coast has led to a lot of speculation and rumor-mongering on the Internet, focusing on the possibility that rogue Communist dictatorship North Korea was at fault."

However, the key may well exist among the domains listed. The story seems to have been originated by "Sorcha Faal" on "her" whatdoesitmean.com "news site" and is quite probably yet another prank in a long string of hoaxes.

This isn't meant to imply not enjoying a decent conspiracy theory myself though…

Could be somewhat true. While our military leaders are busy trying to let gays serve openly in the military, they may be failing to watch our own back yard.

Aircraft sinking a navy ship is pretty easy to explain, all it needs to do is crash into the right part.

As for the Sep 11th attacks, if you asked if something like that were possible prior I would of agreed with you. Back then people were ~way~ too comfortable and were (they still are actually_ sheep's.

As for the Marine, I don't have the right to comment. I was neither a Marine, nor in the armed forces in 1953.

But the way modern systems are setup, NK doesn't have the capabilities to pull off something like that. Other countries most certainly do, so it would be theoretically possible with assistance from China or Russia. And while Russia might be initiating an arms build up, China is still trying to win an economic war with the USA, it can't afford to get caught up in something as meaningless as that.

BP would love to have someone to blame, why not put a bug in Russia's ear. BP would then be a hero trying to fix someone else's problem. Who knows, they put us under a rock and feed us s#%t no matter how you look at it. FUBAR!!

In the past that was true but not anymore, the recent Northern submarines have very little in common with Russian designs. Anyhow, this is silly, the spill was caused by Haliburton's poor workmanship.

    Your comment made me wonder:

    1) first, who is Sorcha Faal? I mean, from what country does this person come?

    2) when you mentioned that NK to be incapable of this, but that Russia is- I suddenly got an image of my kids in my head. To wit:

One does something in order to get the other in trouble, saying "Look what she did."

Russia COULD HAVE done something like this. Did they? Could that be the reason for finger-pointing?

This is what i witnessed, the media in the States Didnt say 1 word about the North Korean attack on the Souths Navel ship I often watch the BBC on PPS ,So as soon as i heard from the BBC i turned to see what US National News was saying and didnt hear a word I mean total news Black Out on that Story.

Weather or not North Korean would be so Crazy as to do such a thing is without question.Being a person that understands war and its long team damages I'd prefer to avoid all wars.

little people have a inferiority complex and are often driven to do stupid things like pissing off the Bigger guys around and suffering the consequent. I say its long over due to kick the shit out of them and teach the the very same lesson we had to teach Japan and if the U.S. is worried about china getting involved then factor them into the same strike and lets show the world we're done being pushed around or being messed with, There's know reason to send any U.S. Soldiers anywhere Just snipe there ass's with our Nukes from our subs and blame the Taliban, killing 2 birds with 1 stone.
