What type of visa is required? I know a lot of military wives teach illegally. You have to have a Korea work visa.

CCK could yank that SOFA status.

…because, when advertising an illegal teaching job, nothing screams discretion like a public posting.

Let me know who gets hired so that I can report it to immigration.

    Tom,

Another way to look at it is to realize that whoever takes the job will be interviewed… and the person hired probably will mean well… a stable wife with free time who likes kids and will likely spend all the money she makes right back into the Korean economy.

…or a random "teacher" can be imported by an agency… where, as likely as not, they will get some kind of 22 year-old hippie skank who is only interested in partying and sending as much money home as possible to cover student loans and credit card bills.

When one lets the Hate get in the way of making pragmatic decisions, it defeats the purpose of nationalism.

What about contractor and DA civilian spouses?

Spouses can work part time jobs now, there was a regulation change about a year or two ago. You gotta put together paperwork and its gotta be approved but USFK, but it ~is~ possible to work a part time job legally.

Now primary SOFA holders (Military / GS and such) can not seek second employment and its not looking like that will ever change.

Actually my theory is that Tom isn't Korean at all. He's prolly just someone making a laugh at everyone by acting out the super-racist Korean stereotype.
