By I don’t think anyone can say the US wasn’t the better team that won this game because they played incredible even after being robbed of yet another goal today by the referee in the first half. The Golden Goal by Landon Donovan during injury time right before the end of the game had to be one of the most exciting goals that the US World Cup team has ever scored. Great game.

The US plays Ghana in the next round which is the knockout stage. If you loose you are finished. Korea plays Uraguay. The only way they would play each other is if both of them win and keep winning. Once you loose you go home. What was just played was the group stage to see who advances to the knockout stage.
