Since I mentioned Michael Yon in my earlier posting in regards to the General McChrystal issue, readers may be interested in listening to this radio interview with Michael Yon on the Gordon G. Liddy Show.
Michael Yon has had an ongoing feud with milblogs in regards to his criticism of General Stanley McChrystal. The feud has been the hottest with Jim Hanson of Blackfive, which has turned intensely personal between the two. This whole feud seems to have started when various milblogs wrote open letters to Yon asking to take time off because he appeared to be burned out. Some dubbed it an intervention which Yon appears to have taken quite personally. I have found this whole issue to be distasteful because Yon is a grown man and knows when he needs to take a break or not. I continue to think that Herschel Smith continues to have the best perspective on this issue.
By the way it is apparent that change is already happening in Afghanistan because Michael Yon has been invited back to embed once again with both the US and British forces.

I'll stand with Yon.

Gerry, I tend to stand with Yon on this as well though I think he has taken the whole thing way to personally. I understand why he is pissed off at Blackfive considering things that have been written about him, however Yon's fight with the Mudville Gazette is baffling to me because they weren't even part of the gang up on him that originally happened.
