It was a good run while it lasted for the South Korean World Cup team, but they just played too little defense to able to advance against a good team like Uruguay. If the Koreans played defense as hard as they play on offense at least that first goal would not have went in against them. South Korea now has four years to find some players who want to play tough defense to get ready for the next World Cup.
I think whoever Uruguay plays in the winner of the Ghana vs US match, Uruguay will be a tough out.

A Uruguayan was called offside first half when he was clear on goal and there was a handball the penalty area not given. Two clear-cut scoring ops deprived of Uruguayan………..and then a penalty not given to Korea in the second. The first two will be disregarded in Korea,so………
Let the bomb threats to the Uruguayan Embassy begin then I guess.

The best defense is a good offense. Yes, there were serious lapses in defense, but I think the lowside was Korea's inability to finish. Too many chances or opportunities. Korea needs to pull the trigger, with or without that #10. My thoughts/feelings are that a new coach is in order. Oh, and yes I thought the ref in this last game sucked, both ways 'til sunday.

Yeah the refs for that game was horrible. SK made the exact same mistakes they did vs Argentina, they played too much defense and their players need to be more mobile and not sit there and watch the opposition horde the ball. I might not be a soccer buff, but its pretty obvious that if you have control of the ball (offense) then the opponent can't score (defense). Best defense is a stronger offense.
