Via the Marmot’s Hole comes this picture of a supposed lieutenant in the North Korean Army that Chinese netizens are infatuated with. Like Robert I am skeptical.

Have you ever seen North Korean women? She doesn't look North Korean at all. Nah, she looks Japanese to me…and apparently she is based on one of the comments at Marmot's.

It's obvious she doesn't even look North Korean, and definitely not South Korean. She looks like Chinese or Japanese to me.

Why is American beef so popular, now?

I think the whole thing just was too conveniently timed for North Korea. North Korean propaganda had been painting Lee Myung Bak before the elections as a traitor, the least likely candidate to win the elections because of his pro-American promises. But, Roh's visit to North Korea sealed his fate as far as most South Korean voters were concerned. Imagine the North Korean's government's surprise when Lee was declared the winner after it's mouth-piece had declared the election fair because they thought Roh had won.
