The most professional army in the world? As far as infantry goes, the French (Quebecers and Acadians), Americans, and First Nations were far superior in my opinion. "Professionalism" is meaningless when it's based on fighting on the open fields of Europe where there were lined up in neat ranks, cannon fodder waiting to be shot at a distance of 50 yards or less or have their head sliced open by a cavalryman's saber.

Armies job is to kill and occupy. Who kills and takes land the best, I will leave to those who think they know. I am prejudice, being an American. Of course, Political Correctness (PC) has corrupted it's ability to do what is required in present days to do it's job. You do not declare a war to exist and then put handcuffs on those raging that war.
