Japanese Ambassador Toshinori Shigeie managed to avoid a piece of cement thrown at him during a speech in Seoul Wednesday, but his interpreter was injured.
Mayumi Horie, third secretary of the Japanese Embassy, was hurt and didn’t come in today, one of the Korean staff members at the embassy told The Korea Times over the phone Thursday. She sustained light injuries.
Police sought an arrest warrant for the offender, Kim Ki-jong.
The incident occurred when Shigeie was giving a speech during the Korea-Japan Future Forum held at the Korea Press Center in central Seoul.
According to YTN, a 24-hour cable news channel, Kim, a member of an advocacy group for Dokdo Islets in the East Sea, walked up to the ambassador and threw a piece of cement at him. [Japan Probe]
Cement Thrower Man follows in a long line of other Dokdo Idiots, which includes the Dokdo Racers, Knife In the Gut Man, The Flag Eater, Finger Chopping Ajumma, the Dokdo Riders, the Pheasant Smashers, and my favorite of all Bee Man. The Dokdo Riders should bring all these people on tour with them in the US, I would actually pay to see such nonsense because it would be so funny. Could you imagine the attention they would get if they set up in Times Square with a guy throwing cement at people, a guy stabbing himself in the gut, an ajumma chopping her fingers off, with two more people smashing pheasant heads, topped off by a guy running around covered in bees?

That Japan Probe site is blatantly anti Korean site. 100% of his articles on Korea, are something negative.
It's funny but I didn't read anything from that blog when last October a young ultra nationalist Japanese man broke into the DPJ’s Tokyo headquarters and smashed the prime minister’s old computer, just because the party is known as getting too close to South Korea.
