This is not a good sign, Kim Jong-Bill Richardson may be on his way to North Korea:
U.S. President Barack Obama is considering a reversal of North Korean policy by allowing New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson to accept an invitation to visit Pyongyang, multiple diplomatic sources told the JoongAng Ilbo yesterday.
The sources based here said Han Song-ryol, deputy North Korean ambassador to the United Nations, invited Richardson in May to visit the communist state to discuss various diplomatic issues, including the sinking of the Cheonan.
“I’m aware that the North Korean side told Richardson it is willing to consider expressing regrets or making an ameliorating statement about the Cheonan incident if he visits Pyongyang,” a source said. “The North Korean government is seeking a chance to turn around the situation through Richardson since it’s been driven to a corner after the Cheonan attack. [Joong Ang Ilbo]
Read the rest at the link but Richardson is reportedly heavily lobbying the administration to go to North Korea and the administration is thinking of allowing him to go since the recent UN resolution was issued that assigned no blame to North Korea. The purpose of Richardson’s trip if you can believe it, is to supposedly push for a denuclearized Korean peninsula. I and others have said this over and over again that the North Koreans have no intention of disarming and the North Koreans have repeatedly said this as well.
If Richardson goes I think what will happen is that Aijalon Mahli Gomes will be released as a goodwill gesture and that there will be an announcement of a new round of six-party talks, which of course will go no where, but the media will declare this as some great diplomatic victory. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens, but this is beginning to feel like deja vu all over again.

North Korea is in it's best position ever. Dear Leader is alive and healthy, the US is hated in South Korea and the SK military is pathetically weak. The Koreans are forced to sidle up to China. The US can't project its power in wake of the Cheonan military attack. The dollar is going to weaken, maybe collapse.
Unbelievable times.

So if Richardson visits…the Norks are going to admit they sunk the Cheonan?
I don't believe that.

Just continuation of the junk like PMJ, Communist propaganda show while most of our deaths took place. I have been saying this in every official forum available for six years now.

The six-party talks are crap, but it would be good to get Gomes released.

Gomes is on a mission from God! If the Lord wants him to go free, the Lord will set him free. We shouldn't interfere with the Lords will. Yes indeedy do, the Lord works in mysterious ways.
