Below are the USFK Court Martial Results for June 2010. Something of interest was the 8th Army Lieutenant Colonel convicted of committing indecent acts with a child. I didn’t see anything in Stars & Stripes about this case, but maybe I missed it. Just goes to show that perverts come in all ranks. Something else I found of interest was in the ROK criminal prosecutions some one got convicted for violating the Automobile Management Act. That is the first time I have seen that crime. Anyone know what it is?

The Army just kicks ass in this department!

This is what I found out about the Management Act:
Law 5104 of 95/12/29 amends the Automobile Management Act. Improves the automobile management systems such as a car registration, safety standards, approval on types, inspection, maintenance check up, etc; changes to the registration system of the automobile management businesses; and makes it easier to understand the existing Automobile Management Act.
So I guess it has to do with registration….

My first thought was that someone who couldn't own/register a vehicle got someone else to register the car but with the scanning of ID cards and decals, it would be hard to pull that one off, wouldn't it?

The AF captain's auto mismanagement doesn't attract any of my attention next to the Army battalion commander who went down for fiddling with a child. I remember that this happened down at Camp Carroll a couple years ago, as well.
10:08 pm on July 20th, 2010 6
@LG Dacom-well actually, more than a couple of years ago. About 2002 if I remembe correctly.

Still, what could the AF Captain have done with his car registration to warrant a 2 million won fine? Maybe he had late traffic tickets? No, he's not in Japan lol. It's freaking killing me, I gotta know!
11:30 am on July 21st, 2010 8
the AF captain that was convicted with violating the automobile management act altered the number on his front license plate so he wouldnt get tickets while speeding.
8:36 pm on July 21st, 2010 9
Silly captain.
All you have to do is ring your license plate with IR LEDs… can't be seen with the naked eye… but it sure overdrives the video CCD sensors.
I made a hat like that, too… it provides for complete privacy in a video-happy world. Of course, it draws attention if anyone is watching… but good luck seeing your face.
Hmmmm… I think I should market these. Anyone willing to pay good money for one?
The license plate thing is probably, but not necessarily, illegal… the hat is probably legal.
9:08 pm on July 21st, 2010 10
Aha! Altering your License Plate to avoid tickets. Way to Go SSgt Spence, er..I mean Capt Spence. SSgt vs. Capt-same thing maturity wise.

This makes me mad. Sure he may have done some things wrong, but you don’t need to post things like this online. He is still a human bein. LTC Kain is my father, and trust me, if we can forgive him for this, so can you.
10:04 pm on January 28th, 2012 12
Hmmm…
Looking back at comments, there was so much interest in the unusual event of a captain modifying his license plate that just another average high-ranking kiddy toucher pervert didn’t even get a single snide comment.
What were we thinking? How did we miss this?
The mistake is entirely ours… and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
We will try to do better.

There was a USFK tank on a country road north of Seoul one afternoon. It came around a blind corner and ran over the front of a car. The LTC got out and inspected the situation. A little boy climbed from the undamaged back of the car crying his eyes out.
“You killed my mommy and daddy,” he screamed in broken English.
The LTC looked around and started to unbutton his fly.
“Well, kid, I guess today’s just not your lucky day.”
6:58 pm on January 31st, 2012 31
30. I literally laughed out loud!
Was the LTC in the tank the former Lieutenant Colonel, previous kiddie diddler and current prisoner by the name of Joel Kain by any chance?
4 stars, would guffaw again!
