I wonder what the State Department thinks of Korea getting cozy with Hugo Chavez’s buddy?

One less precious metal/mineral US has to worry about China buying up/hoarding. I think US should be happy ROK can get cozy with Morales as it will hopefully ensure reliable supply of the material that's required in Lithium batteries. Bolivia has half of the world's known mineral deposit required for the batteries.
Would you rather have China get cozy with Bolivia? Bolivian president did reportedly indicate he wasn't too keen with dealing with ROK as he thought ROK was too close with US. But seriously, have you considered China getting exclusive access to the mineral? Smart thing for US to do is keep quiet in this issue.

I think the ROK should give the minerals to China, just to piss off the US.

The bonus being LMB and his cronies get all the "powder" they want! The parliamentary brawls will take on a whole new meaning. I see this as bonus for all involved. Minerals, plants and money!
