One of my friends, a huge fan of Arnold, had a chance to meet him in Seoul but his employer decided to send someone else instead.

He's an Arny of One.

I'm going to meet Arny!
Not now, of course… next time.
He will likely retire from both regular politics and regular acting… but his global profile will continue to be high.
I'm going to swim across the river to North Korea and ask that Arnold be the guy who comes and gets me on a humanitarian mission that will increase his global street cred.
Then I will do the talk show circuit and write a book… soak up a little pity by saying I didn't know that was North Korea on the other side of the river.
The next leader of North Korea will be able to release me on humanitarian grounds and get a picture with Arny.
It's totally win-win for everyone involved.
The best part will be, as we are leaving North Korea, I will have him say…
"C'mon, get to the choppa! Do it noooooow!"

He will probably spend his remaining years as a goodwill ambassador or something. He couldn’t possibly be elected to anything, in what was his party. That party seems to be veering too far out into a fringe to accept anyone like him anymore.
Ronald Reagan couldn’t be elected today.

Why is he in Korea and what does the leader of the bankrupt state want?

Hey Tom,
What does a troll like you could possibly want on this forum?
Btw, CA may be bankrupt (it's not actually) but it's still the top choice to live in compared to other US states, and also many many nations on this planet.
