Look what Michael Yon found in Afghanistan:

Korean Flags –
I see these flags in various provinces. This flag is in Urozgan (am now in Nangarhar). Many Korean missionaries have come to Afghanistan trying to convert Muslims to Christians, but I have no idea where these flags are coming from. [Michael Yon Facebook]
Anyone surprised that the Korean missionaries are still getting around in Afghanistan despite the travel ban after the kidnapping and murder of a Korean missionary group three years ago?

You shouldn't accept everything you read on the internet as fact. Especially a random post someone made on a facebook page.

I seriously doubt missionaries are traveling around with huge flags in their backpacks.
It was probably 'acquired' from one of the Korean military detachments.

And why do you care? what's it to you?

I would not be surprised at all to find Korean Christian Missionaries in Afghanistan today.
I would not be surprised at all to find Korean Christian Missionaries in Afghanistan today from the same group as three years ago, or a new group connected to that old group.
I do not find it hard to believe that they would have huge flags. I would be surprised if they didn't, and if they didn't have any Dokdo propaganda.

I would be pleasantly surprised if you could prove me wrong. Go forth! Gather evidence! Take pictures! Add something real to the discussion!

Why let a perfectly good taeguk flag go to waste. A tent needs mending and that flag is made from perfectly good material.
I think we are reading too much into it boys.

Seems like some posters here need to zip up their presuppositions…
