Well we already know that since he is gay he gets special treatment thus will likely face no charges like he did last time. Once again I ask the question, what if Tea Party protesters chained themselves in uniform protesting the President? Does anyone think that nothing will happen to them? We already know that the military is willing to shut down a Tea Party Facebook page that a Marine created.
As I have stated over and over again I am for equal treatment for gays in the military, not special treatment and people like Dan Choi just goes to show that the special treatment is already starting.

Homo's don't belong in the military! How could a Ranger have ANY respect for someone like Choi and carry out "orders" without second-guessing them?
It is human nature to associate with "your own kind" and to disassociate yourself from others. Forcing the opposite is counterintuitive to good order and discipline.
Married couples get divorced all the time – why? Because they CAN'T GET ALONG. Marriage is the most coveted relationship (for most) and some end in divorce with the husband and wife hating each other. Why would anyone force a relationship (eg, a homosexual leader put in charge of 50, 18-30 year old US Army Rangers) onto another?

I have zero problem with you stating your opinion on any matter at the "drop". I do however, take acception to being referenced in a homosexual manner, while adding "messed with mercilessly" as a warning to all the "drop" users. This is a great idea for responding negatively on a case-by-case basis to normal people in trying to stop the inevitable.

I'm sure my opinion reflects that of most others. If DADT gets repealed, most enlisted people will keep their mouths shut due to fear of retribution. This for the most part, should reflect all Homo and heterosexuals as something that is personal and not necessarily a trophy that needs to be flaunted.

The strange thing is I agree with the politics of Dan Choi, but absolutely abhor the tactics. He is a commissioned U.S Army officer, and acts like a total queer activist, and has made his decision on which is more important to him.
There are behaviors that are incompatible with one another. Being gay and being a soldier are not incompatible. Being a queer activist and being a soldier are totally incompatible. How this guy continues to go on without any fear of any disciplinary actions is totally unacceptable.

Maj America #23, Dan Choi's discharge was finalized on 29 June 2010 so I don't believe that his antics now can be prosecuted under the UCMJ. When he was still on active duty he could very well been prosecuted but the powers that be decided not to. If DADT is repealed and Dan Choi rejoins the US Army then I hope the authorities throw the book at him. No matter if your politics are left, right, or center the history of the military or active duty military being involved in politics is a disaster. Look at a number of military dictatorships in African countries, in Burma, North Korea, and in the past with Marcos in the Philippines, Greece in the 1960's, Afghanistan under the Soviets, & numerous countries in Latin America during the '60's & '70's like Argentina, Chile, Guatemala, Brazil, & Paraguay. Whatever your opinion on DADT I think that Dan Choi's actions are making it almost impossible for DADT for repeal in the current lame duck congress. Great job Dan, keep it up!
