Meju is not soybean malt. Malt is made from a grain. Soybean is a legume, not a grain. Grain is the seed of a grass, and soy isn't a grass.

"Meju is not soybean malt. Malt is made from a grain. Soybean is a legume, not a grain. Grain is the seed of a grass, and soy isn’t a grass."

…and since a grain is the seed of a grass and grass floats but soy is the legume which sinks, it stands to reason that meju will also sinks… and, since witches sink, rather than float…

Grasses and beans have a common ancestor, but that was many millions of years ago.

    Glans,

    I'd listen to him…

…because, if there is one thing Canadians know, it's grass.

    …especially the English "teachers".

    Hmmm…

    That's right.

    Well, in that case…

…since soy is a legume which sinks and meju is made of soy, one would think it would sink, too. However, possibly through the Devil's work, meju has been identified as a malt which is from a grain which is the seed of a grass which we all know can float…

    …so…

    …BURN THE WITCH!

Actually, witches float. The purpose of ducking was not to punish a witch, but to see if the suspect floated. The idea was that water, being a pure and wholesome substance, would reject the witch, and hence cause her to float.
