The Philippines’ bachelor president has appealed for privacy, saying journalists’ prying eyes are ruining his love life.
President Benigno Aquino III has been linked to several women since he broke up with girlfriend Shalani Soledad in October. One was his stylist. On Friday, The Philippine Star had a front-page picture of him with a stockbroker said to be his new romantic interest.
The 50-year-old Aquino says he will be spending Christmas without a date because women are scared to go out with him for fear of ending up in the newspaper headlines.
He says it’s difficult to woo a woman with the whole nation watching, and joked with reporters that it will “be on your conscience” if another prospective girlfriend stays away.-Associated Press

Oh, please! He comes from a family of media whoores. His sisters made themselves into petty celebrities having no other talent than their last name. And just how does he believe he got to be president? Don't tell me he expects privacy.
Now, he is president of the Philippines for christs' sake, where there seems to be like 50 wanting and willing women for every guy. Don't tell me he has problems gettin' some.

My uncle, now a retired president of a large multinational corporation, once told my father a very interesting story. He had once hired a well-known politicians as a speaker for one of his company's functions. After having had a bit too much wine during dinner, he headed over to the washroom to relieve himself. While standing at the urinal, he noticed burly men in dark suits and glasses walk in and then suddenly walk out. Then, a tall guy walks over to the urinal next to him. My uncle, who is no more than 5'6", looked up and saw the all too familiar face. My uncle, feeling a bit tipsy from all the wine he had drunk, cracked him a big smile, to which the tall man responded in the same fashion, before letting his devious sense of humor come through. "Hey, no wonder Monica liked cigars", he said. Stunned, the tall man replied, "You're a bold little man", and then he proceeded to laughed his head off.
