Picture of the Day: UK Ambassador’s Gift

British Ambassador Martin Uden talks during an interview with Yonhap News Agency at the British Embassy in Seoul on Dec. 8. The envoy, who collected hundreds of old books on Korea over the last 30 years, said he plans to transfer the collection onto DVDs and donate it to the Gyeonggi Provincial Museum ahead of his departure from his post early next year.

Via Yonhap.

For those that didn’t know Ambassador Uden does have his own blog that he updates about once a week.

Darm, there's something wrong. I graduated with honors from grad school in the UK from a much better school than he did, and he's an embassador while I'm a lowly scholar. Just shows that sometimes credentials aren't worth shit.

Atwork 1, I don't agree that academic qualifications are worthless, but it is true that they aren't everything.
