
A statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin, who led the Korean Navy against Japanese invaders in the 16th century, is being repaired at a factory in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, on Dec. 7. After maintenance work, which is currently halfway completed, the statue will be returned to Gwanghwamun Plaza in downtown Seoul. [Yonhap]
