Picture of the Day: Admiral Yi Returns

Fresh after getting his balls brassed, Admiral Yi is looking as good as ever:

The newly refurbished statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin is revealed in Gwanghwamun Plaza, central Seoul, yesterday.

That's an impressive looking statue! If & when NK collapses maybe the huge statue of Kim Il-Sung in Pyongyang could be torn down & a larger version of this statue could replace it. Or just to p'off NK fellow-travelers in the south they could replace the KIS statue with one of General Douglas MacArthur, that would be a hoot.

NO way. NK folks should be kept in NK for next 10 years before they are allowed out. Of course they will be fed/clothed/medicine and all that good stuff but they should be rebrainwashed for next 10 years before being allowed out.

John #4, A 'fellow-traveler' is another word for a sympathizer. I meant to describe people in South Korea who foolishly follow the NK line. For example those demonstrators who were against SK doing military maneuvers with the US but who were totally silent as to the Cheonan sinking or the NK shelling of the SK island. I agree with you about not letting NK civilians out in the case of NK collapse because it would be a huge fustercluck.

John 4 and Tom Langley 5, what then? If NK civilians try to flee a collapse, shoot them down at the border?
